Believe it or not, you can do the same to arrows, however the arrows don’t hit the enemy and you need to have basically frame perfect timing.

I'm telling ya man, you ever port/remaster these games for Modern hardware, especially Dream Team with fights like this, people would be calling this some PEAK moments for the Mario series dude. Side Note: If this game ever gets ported, remastered, or remade and they make new music for some of the bosses. I would honestly love it if for this fight, they made remix of Showtime!, Bowser's Battle Theme from Inside Story, for this boss. It would be a nice throwback, especially since he says it in the fight.

I love how at this point not only is the giant thing not new to Luigi but also bowser isn’t new to him. Big or normal size Luigi has faced and beaten bowser before with Mario at his side. He’s more than ready for this.
